About the Author

Martin Handford, the man behind the mind-boggling Waldo books, began his career as a freelance illustrator specializing in drawing crowd scenes. "I can’t tell you how pleased I am that Waldo has taken on a life of his own," he says. "I’d like to inspire children to open their minds to explore subjects more, to be aware of what’s going on around them. I’d like them to see wonder in places that may not have occurred to them." Always wanted this book as a child (born and raised poor and never had a shot at it) and so I bought it for myself for Christmas. My only complaint is that I finished finding Waldo in all the scenes in about fifteen minutes, and found the rest of the "can you find" to be equally easy. Should have tackled this book as a seven-year-old child rather than a 59-year-old man in a tinge of nostalgia. But nothing wrong with this book...for children. It did help get me through a rather lonesome Christmas day.@@@@Great concept. Inconsistent print quality

Bought it for my 4 year old grandson and he LOVES this book! Actually he's obsessed with it. He only want me to read this to him at bedtime when i watch him and honestly I think too hard to find the characters and their list belonging thats asked that you find on every. This Waldo book is WAY busy and I am so glad when he falls to sleep working the first or second page so I don't have to read this whole book of too busy of art on each page. Very frustrating to look at the tiny, tiny way too busy pages and NEVER find Waldo! But he likes it so I do what any good grandma does and I read it, every time.@@@@Happily, this is the same delightful book I remember

My husband and I loved these books as children in the 90s, so we had to get them for our 4 year old when he was old enough to search for Waldo and his friends. We love the Wonder Book!@@@@Highly highly recommend for hours of entertainment

Wonderfully challenging. We have had it for about two months now and still can't locate Waldo on all the pages. I really like the challenge and it makes the book last longer. I would have been pretty disappointed in fact if we had been able to locate him on all the pages on the first day. Illustrations are beautiful and very very detailed. Each time I look at the pages, we discover new things that we missed previously. This book it great;@@@@Great for parents with older children
