Amazon.com Review

Count to 10, explore the alphabet, discover shapes, learn about opposites, and find the missing teddy bear in this big, colorful board book. Sesame Street's beloved Elmo guides young readers to lift more than 60 flaps to reveal humorous and edifying surprises. Over the word "dry," Grover gazes unsuspectingly into a garden hose. Turn the flap and guess what happens! Grover learns all about "wet." A towering pyramid of alphabet blocks contains objects starting with the same letter behind each flap: alligator, book, cookies. Large, sturdy flaps allow rough-tough toddler hands to clutch and pull as much as they want with minimal risk of tearing. Children will adore the bright, bold illustrations of Jim Henson's familiar Muppet characters and beg to return to this book again and again. (Baby to preschool) --Emilie Coulter

This book is fantastic. My one year old loves it! We go through it several times a day. He may not understand all of it, but I simplify it and ask him to 'open the door' 'open the window' 'lift the square' etc, and he loves opening the flaps! I love how big it is and my son is genuinely intrigued by the different pages -- we look at colors, shapes, and I point out common items/words. I think an older toddler would benefit even more from it (ABCs, opposites, counting, etc) and be highly entertained by all this book has to offer. I highly recommend it!@@@@Perfect Toddler Book

Would recommend in a heartbeat and will buy again if my daughter destroys this copy completely.@@@@Great book, even great for a one year old!

Some of the flaps in the book are a little flimsy and easy to rip out but I have repaired them with tape and they're holding up perfectly. I didn't expect anything different, it's less related to the quality of the book and more related to my "aggressive reader".
